The Dragon Slayers retained the Montgomery Cricket Club Knock-Out trophy after a convincing victory over the David Wowers in the final on Sunday
The finals day saw four teams compete in a two semi-finals and then a final on Sunday with the Dragon Slayers beating the Upper House B in the first match and the David Wowers defeating Upper House A in the second game.
The day proved a huge success with more than 100 spectators watching the games while enjoying a barbecue and a bar.
Club chairman John Barker said: “Once again our annual Knock Out competition provide a huge success.
“I would like to thank everyone who took part and came down to watch.
“The competition started earlier in the season with eight teams in total.
“Each game proved really enjoyable and I would like to say a big thank you to the committee for once again staging the popular competition.
“I would especially like to thank George and Tom Corfield, and Dave Jones for helping umpire the games this summer.”
