Bishops Castle 106 all out beat Ludlow IIIs 102 all out by seven wickets
SIMON Palmer starred as Bishops Castle savoured their first win since April with a seven wicket verdict at home to Ludlow IIIs.
Palmer (6-60) included the key wickets of Dylan Grinker (32) and Scott Kemsley (23) while Richard Powell (4-38) offered crucial support with Simon Miles (27no) guiding Ludlow to just 102 to defend.
Kemsley (2-21) caught and bowled opener Jonathan Price for a top scoring 47 in reply but Castle were not to be denied with Richard Fifield (30no) steering his side to 106-3 and victory in the 29th over,
