TNS 6 Carmarthen Town 0

GREG Draper came off the bench to net twice as TNS outclassed Carmarthen Town at Park Hall.

The Saints went into the game keen to bounce back following the disappointment of defeat at Connahs Quay Nomads and the end of their Europa League adventure.

However it took until the 23rd minute for the Saints to break the deadlock with Danny Redmond heading home Jamie Mullan’s right wing cross.

Nine minutes later Mullan rounded Carmarthen goalkeeper Lee Idzi to double the Saints lead.

The match was all over as a contest by half-time with Dean Ebbe lofting a beautifully weighted chip over Idzi from the edge of the area.

New Zealander Draper was introduced after the break and took less than 10 minutes to cash in on the leaking Carmarthen defence with a composed finish from Chris Marriott’s left wing cross.

Carmarthen Town stemmed the tide but with 20 minutes remaining Adrian Cieslewicz nodded home the Saints fifth goal of the afternoon.

The most one sided contest of the season so far was completed on 78 minutes with Draper heading home Mullan’s right wing cross from close range.

TNS: Harrison, Marriott, Spender, Cabango, Hudson, Edwards (Hmami 63), Holland (Draper 46), Redmond, Mullan, Cieslewicz, Ebbe (Byrne 68). Subs: Robers, Clark, Nembhard, Lewis
