Llanidloes 139 all out lost to Coton Hall 235-4 by six wickets
LLANIDLOES were brought back to earth following the previous week’s derby triumph with a six wicket defeat at Coton Hall.
Ryan Peate (87no) and Patrick McBennett (72) starred as Hall posted a commanding 235-4 with Clive Jones (1-23), Declan Jones (1-22) and William Denham (1-37) sharing the wickets.
Lewis Swallow was bowled by Dan Thomas (3-39) while Denham departed to Alastair Rich (1-39) for 20.
Peate (2-16) sparked a middle order collapse before Samuel Phillips-Harvey dig in for the Daffodils with his fall to McBennett (2-22) for a top scoring 38 marking Llanidloes’ dismissal for 139/
