JASON Pritchard has targeted success at this weekend’s Carryduff Forklift Down Rally in Northern Ireland.
The 30 year old from Builth Wells is joined by co-driver Phil Clarke for the fourth round of the Protyre UK Asphalt Championship.
Pritchard is among the championship contenders with a first and third place finish under his belt only to retire early in the last round in Belgium last month.
“We were obviously dejected after not finishing in Belgium and it’s crucial for my championship that I finish with points on the board in Northern Ireland on Saturday,” said Pritchard.
Meanwhile Epynt near Brecon will host the Harry Flatters Rally on Sunday, a round of both the British and Welsh Historic championships.
Among local interest is Aberangell’s Osian Pryce and Llanfyllin co-driver Dale Furniss.
