BERRIEW have completed one of the signings of the summer by swooping to bring striker Joe Haycock to the Talbot Field.
Haycock called time on a five year spell with MMP-NRL MWL One League rivals Churchstoke to become Berriew’s fourth signing of the summer.
The Rhiewsiders have also strengthened with goalkeeper Ryan Edkins joining striker Richard Davies in arriving from Caersws while Charlie Humphreys and Drew Cook arrive from Abermule.
Davies’ return to the Talbot Field represents a particular coup for the Rhiewsiders having been prolific in his original spell with the club before spending half a season with the Bluebirds.
Meanwhile Xavier Mattisse has departed J T Hughes Montgomeryshire League side Maesyrhandir to join MMP-NRL MWL One side Berriew while ex-TNS under 19s defender Tom Williams has also joined the Talbot Field club so far this summer.
