TNS defender Steve Saunders has swapped the Welsh Premier League for the Scottish Premiership after being released by the Welsh Champions.
27-year-old Saunders has joined newly promoted side Livingston after finding himself surplus to Scott Ruscoe's requirements at Park Hall, and becomes their second signing of the summer, despite the Almondvale club currently being without a manager.
Saunders, who made 39 appearances for the Saints over the past two seasons, scoring four times, has previously played for Dumbarton and Ross County and started his career as a youth team player at Motherwell.
He has previously earned a full international cap for Scotland, coming on as a substitute in a 3-0 victory over the Faroe Islands in 2010.
Livingston's assistant coach David Martindale said “we were after Steven when he was previously playing for Dumbarton in the Championship. He brings a wealth of experience to Livingston, having made over 50 appearances for Motherwell and 19 for Ross County in the Premiership.
"Steven has also managed a cap as a full Scotland internationalist, and has played in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers with TNS.
"He is a big strong quick player and can play centre back or right back.”
