Guilsfield 52-2 beat Llanidloes 48 all out by eight wickets
SAM Griffiths starred with bat and ball as Guilsfield celebrated an eight wicket derby victory at home to Llanidloes.
Guilsfield dismissed Llanidloes for just 49 with Griffiths (4-5) joined by debutant Bobby Gill who marked his arrival with a superb 4-3, including the key wicket of Llanidloes opener James Denham for a top scoring 15.
Griffiths (31no) carried his bat and was joined by Gill (6no) in an unbroken third wicket partnership to guide Guilsfield to 52-2 and victory inside five overs.
James Denham (2-16) led the Llani bowling attack but was unable to prevent his side tasting defeat.
