Rob Yewdall (3-56) starred but Matthew Conniffe (84no) carried his bat to guide the hosts to 211-7 despite support from Neil Tuffin (2-51) and Lennon Bryan (2-33).

Yewdall (30), Gareth Jones (15), Dave Jones (19) and Ian Fletcher (17no) top scored in reply as Naz Akhtar (4-28), ensured their dismissal for 124.

Meanwhile Alberbury IIs won by 51 runs at Knockin IIs.

James Hearle (59) and Sahim Zaza (50) starred and defied Martin Ellis (4-51) in guiding their side to 191-9 to defend.

Myles Thomas (4-30) and Ben Davies (4-19) led the attack in reply and completed Knockin’s demise for 140 despite the efforts of Dave Jones (38).

Bishops Castle IIs drew at Much Wenlock IIs in division three.

Tom Moulder (26) impressed before George Rayment (36no) and Simon Green (22no) formed an unbroken seventh wicket stand to guide Castle to 141-6.

Moulder (4-43) starred in reply while James Lloyd (33) top scored as the hosts closed on 138-9.

Welshpool IIS were also held to a draw at Albrighton IIs.

Matt Sherwood starred with a superb knock of 139 to defy George Maundrell (4-47) and guide Pool to 229-9 to defend.

However Steve Cowie (124) and Hardeep Kumar (40) led the hosts reply with the best efforts of Rupert Redway (4-31) and Jordan Harding (2-53) restricting Albrighton to 206-8.
