MONTGOMERY Cricket Club helds its annual under 10s softball festival this month.
The sun basked Lymore as sides from Newtown, Knockin and Beacon joined the hosts in contesting 10 games which featured excellent batting and bowling and particularly spectacular catches.
Organiser Hayley Griffiths said: “The young cricketers all had the opportunity to experience a traditional cricket tea, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
“It was a fantastic day of cricket, and was brilliant to see so many children having the opportunity to show their skill and most importantly enjoying themselves. There were many stars of the future in attendance.”
