Jeremy Clarkson was pranked by Ant and Dec as part of the new series of their show Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

The new series saw the pair pull off the prank in which actors pretended to be protesters who were passionate about soil and its feelings and showed up to Jeremy Clarkson’s farm, in Oxfordshire.

Ant and Dec also got involved as protestors with the help of disguises including wings and face masks.

One protestor, the leader, was trying to keep things calm as the protest went on but other actors weren’t so calm and Clarkson began to get frustrated.

This Tweet from the Saturday Night Takeaway account shows a clip from the video footage of the prank.

If you missed the moment or would just like to see it again, you can head over to the ITV Hub where the whole prank is included in the first epsiode of the new series.

After one ‘protestor’ handcuffed himself to Clarkson’s car, the ‘police’ showed up.

Just as you thought the prank was going to come to an end, Ant and Dec drove a bulldozer over to the vehicle and dumped soil onto the roof and windscreen and as you can imagine, this didn’t please the former Top Gear host.

The mock police officers said they’d arrest Clarkson along with some of the protestors.

In true Clarkson style, he didn’t hide his emotion as he began swearing at the mock police officers.

This was when Ant and Dec revealed that the whole thing was indeed a prank and not a real protest.

The duo were pleased to have pulled off the prank successfully after having Jeremy Clarkson on their list of celebrities to prank for 10 years.

Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway continues on Saturdays at 7pm on ITV.
