FOOTBALLERS headed to Forden on Saturday as the much-loved Andrew Lloyd Football Festival made its return.
The festival was put on hiatus over the past two years due to the pandemic and lockdown restrictions.
However the weekend saw it make a welcome return as hundreds of footballers took part in a day of fun and football.
An auction and bar helped ensure the footballers and crowd were entertained throughout the day and despite some rain the event was hailed another resounding success.
Organiser Suzanne Rowlands posted via the event Facebook page: "Wow, what a day! Thank you all so much for coming, I am blown away by the response this year.
"I hope you’ve had a good day like we have.
"I was worried you would all have found other things to do since Covid, but how wrong was I. See you all in 2023."
