WELSHPOOL's Adele Nicoll is just one step away from competing in the Winter Olympics.
Nicoll is brakewoman to Mica McNeill in the bobsleigh, and the pair took 11th place in the final World Cup race of the season in St Moritz on Sunday morning, which met the qualification time for the Beijing Games taking place next month.
But there is no confirmation from Team GB yet of her place being secured.
Nicoll is also looking to be selected to represent Team Wales in the shot putt at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham this summer which she said would be an "incredible honour".
Another great result for @MicaMcNeill and @adelenicoll 💪

She took to Twitter to say: "2022 is off to a brilliant start."
The pair needed to make the top 12 to reach the qualification spot.
