BERRIEW Football Club hope to emulate their neighbours at Welshpool and Llanfair Caereinion in the future
The club's women's side has gone from strength to strength since the start of the season with the club now home to a growing player base.
Coach Paul Inns hoped it would not be long before the Rhiewsiders joined Welshpool Town and Llanfair United in competing in the Welsh women's football pyramid.
Inns said: "It’s great that our numbers are increasing - a few more players, and we’ll be looking to start regular ladies five aside festivals for our players.
"The emphasis is on a fun, friendly football session for all abilities from year 10 up to any age – and the sessions are free. We train every Friday at Berriew from 7-8pm. If you’d like to join, feel free to contact me - paulinns@hanrattylaw.com."
