Farm machinery carried by a tractor has overturned near the Newtown bypass which is causing traffic delays in the area.
Police officers and firefighters are dealing with the incident at the Welshpool end of the bypass in Pool Road.
North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency said police are directing traffic after a tractor shed its load, affecting traffic heading in and out of Newtown.
Dyfed-Powys Police added: "Please take care this afternoon on the Newtown Bypass roundabout that would take you North towards Berriew.
"Emergency services and council are at scene clearing the road after a slurry trailer has overturned. The road is not closed but passable with care."
The incident happened at around 1pm on Tuesday afternoon (June 29).
