LLANIDLOES Cricket Club's 10 point deduction will stand, it has been confirmed.
Club captain Andrew Jones relayed the decision of the Shropshire Cricket League committee via social media and insisted the Powys club would be making no further appeal or comment.
The fifth division club was deducted 10 points earlier in the summer when Jones failed to attend a captain's meeting due to a medical emergency within the family.
He said: "The full Shropshire County Cricket League have voted on this and decided that the 10 points deduction will stand.

"All members voted and the decision was again made to enforce the points dediction.
"I'm not raising this in a negative manner and just want to inform all our supporters of the outcome of the vote.
"We have been reminded of the declaration signed by Llanidloes CC at the start of the season where action will be taken against us should any derogatory comments be made by our team or members against the league or social media.
"I won't say anything more as that will result in more sanctions against the club.
"The committee vote is final and we have to respect it."
