The Heart of Wales 7s welcomed teams and festival goers from all over the UK last weekend for an exciting mix of sport, music and glamping.

With the British Army taking the spoils in the Elite Mens Rugby it was great to see local success for local teams Llanidloes RFC and Newtown RFC as we had over 85 rugby teams involved.

Organiser Jordan Davies said: "We were proud to see the return of the The Welsh Tug of War Championships while Llanidloes Hockey Club also had a great first tournament outing with the hockey and netball events hosting another 45 teams combined."
