RYAN Astley has spoken of his pride after marking his Wales U21s debut with a goal in last week’s 7-0 thrashing of Gibraltar.
The Everton defender from Llanfair Caereinion stepped up to the under 21s squad and completed the scoring in the European Under 21 Championship qualifier.
He said: “I’m buzzing to have made my under 21s debut and to top it off with a win and goal. It was a great night and one I won’t forget for a long time.”
