Alice Evans has been signed up for her second season by Santa Predu Ladies Futsal team in Italy.

The former Trefonnen Primary School and Builth Wells High School student joined the newly promoted Sardinian club last year.

The 27-year-old became the first ever British female futsal player to gain a professional contract when she joined Italian side Sinnai in 2015 and competed for a season in the top flight.

Evans is a former Welsh youth futsal international and has nine caps for the senior squad.

Since coming back to Britain at the end of May she has been playing futsal for Cheshire and played in the Futsal Summer Showdown, reaching the semi finals when she was awarded the player of the match accolade.

Evans has also been training and playing rugby for Warrington Wolves ladies to retain her match fitness.
