Police officers are investigating the theft of a 100-year-old agricultural tool that was taken from a garden shed in Builth Wells.

The long wooden handled sickle, which holds "great sentimental value" to the victim, was stolen in North Road at around 5.15am on Saturday, June 12.

Dyfed-Powys Police has released a description of a young person they would like to speak with.

"The suspect of this crime is described as a male, between 16 and 17 years of age, wearing all black clothing," police said.

"He was last seen a short time after this incident walking towards Builth Wells Football Club carrying the sickle over his shoulder."
