A Powys man has been sentenced after he admitted a string of drug-driving offences committed in Merseyside.
James Dyson, of Golfa Close in Middletown, near Welshpool, appeared before magistrates in Liverpool and Knowsley on August 27.
The 21-year-old had previous pleaded guilty to three counts of drug-driving while behind the wheel on Newstead Road in Halewood, Merseyside on February 22, this year.
The court was told that Dyson had 4.8 micrograms of cannabis per litre of blood. The legal limit is 2ug/l.
He also had 65 micrograms of cocaine per litre of blood, when the legal limit is 10ug/l.

And he had 400 micrograms of benzoylecgonine – the main metabolite in cocaine – in a litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 ug/l.
Dyson had pleaded guilty to all three counts at the court on July 21.
He was handed a 12-month community order to include a non-residential drug rehabilitation programme for six months, along with 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days, and 100 hours of unpaid work.
Dyson was also banned from driving for 18 months, starting from the date of his plea.
And he must pay £85 court costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
