Hikers can now collect stamps along their journey using a new trail passport.
The Heart of Wales Line Trail Passport was officially unveiled at the Royal Welsh Show and is now available to walkers exploring the 141-mile Heart of Wales Line Trail, which runs from Craven Arms to Llanelli.
Developed by the Friends of the Heart of Wales Line Trail, the passport allows walkers to collect stamps from businesses along the route.
It is supported by the Community Rail Network, Heart of Wales Line Community Rail Partnership, and Transport for Wales.
Lisa Denison, chair of the Friends of the Heart of Wales Line Trail, said: "The 'Friends' of the trail are very excited about the launch of the trail passport and grateful to our funders and partners who have helped to bring it to fruition.
"As well as benefitting walkers and local businesses, it also provides the charity with a sustainable income, which in turn will help us to maintain the trail for future walkers."
Stamped businesses, known as 'Stamping Stops,' are located along the trail to encourage visitors into rural communities.
Walkers who collect ten or more stamps can apply for a free trail gift and certificate.

"Getting outdoors in our lush countryside is one of the best ways to improve mental and physical wellbeing and now people can record and be rewarded for their walks.
"I also love how this project will connect the many people using the trail with wonderful, local businesses that are vital to our rural communities."
The Heart of Wales Line Trail launched in 2019.
It links railway stations along one of the UK’s most scenic rural lines, making it possible to break up the route into sections using public transport.
The trail was designed to promote sustainable travel and bring economic benefits to areas along the railway.
The Heart of Wales Line Trail Passport is available for purchase online and does not have an expiry date, meaning walkers can collect stamps over several months or even years.
It is managed by the Friends of the Heart of Wales Line Trail, with proceeds supporting ongoing trail maintenance and development.
