Severe weather has led to a full-day suspension of rail services between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth.
All trains have been cancelled between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth from 3am on Saturday, July 11.
Transport for Wales expects disruption to continue for the entire day.
Passengers are being advised to plan their journeys in advance and visit the Transport for Wales website for the latest information.
Lloyds Coaches will operate alternative services, with the T2 and T28 buses running between the towns to support travellers.
These buses will be free of charge for rail passengers.
Travellers are encouraged to use www.traveline.cymru to plan their journeys.
Other routes between Machynlleth and Shrewsbury and Machynlleth and Pwllheli will continue to operate, though trains are likely to be crowded and could become uncomfortably warm during the journey.
Customers are advised to carry water and stay hydrated, and to alert a member of staff if they feel unwell while travelling.
