A road between two Powys villages was closed for more than six hours after a car collided with a telegraph pole.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews, were called to a report of a single-vehicle crash at around 3.20pm on Wednesday, May 20.
The incident happened on the B4569 between Caersws and Trefeglwys, with Dyfed-Powys Police warning motorists to avoid the area while crews dealt with the collision.
No injuries reported
Police later confirmed that no one was injured.
A spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision at around 3:20pm on Wednesday, 20 May on the B4569 near Caersws.
“Officers attended to assist and the road was closed.
“No injuries reported.
“Recovery was arranged for the vehicle.”
Closure lasted into the evening
Although the vehicle was recovered, the road remained shut while further work was carried out.

A Powys County Council spokesperson said operatives were called out to close the road at around 5.30pm after the car struck a telegraph pole.
They added: “Once the car had been recovered the road remaining closed whilst waiting for Openreach to come and remove the cables from the carriageway that were attached to the damaged telegraph pole.
“The road reopened at around 9.45pm.”
