Two people were taken to hospital following a crash on a busy Powys road this week.

The incident on the A458 happened between Llanfair Caereinion and Llangadfan at around 12.15pm on Wednesday, April 29.

Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed the collision involved one vehicle and two people were taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson said: "Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision on the A458 between Llanfair and Llangadfan at around 12.15pm on Wednesday, 29 April.

"Two people have been taken to hospital for further medical treatment.

"The road was closed while the car was recovered and reopened at around 1.50pm."

The road closure caused some congestion in the local area while motorists were advised to avoid the area by both the police and Traffic Wales.
