Engineers are working to repair a burst water pipe that has left households in a village near Newtown without a reliable supply.
Residents in the SY16 and SY17 postcode areas around Caersws began experiencing issues on Monday morning, including no supply, low pressure and discoloured water.
Hafren Dyfrdwy said its teams are currently repairing the damaged mains pipe on the B4569 and are aiming to restore normal service as quickly as possible.

“We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing,” the water supply company said.
Powys County Council confirmed that an emergency road closure has been put in place on the B4569, near the crossroad between Llanwnog and Aberhafesp, to allow repair work to be carried out.
The 24-hour closure will remain in effect from Monday until Wednesday (January 28) while engineers complete the mains repair.
