A CRASH outside Bishops Castle prompted the call-out of Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) on Sunday.
Two SFRS crews from Bishops Castle and Craven Arms were sent to The Port Way, in Asterton, at 2.25pm after reports that the occupants of the car were trapped.
A spokesman for the service said that the vehicle had left the carriageway and confirmed what action was required.
They said: “Two crews were sent to the scene and an operations officer was also in attendance.
“The vehicle had left carriageway – crews used small gear and ratchet straps to secure the vehicles and help the driver and passengers exit the vehicle.”
A stop message confirming no further help was required was sent to SFRS control at around 3pm.
