THE A483 near Newtown has reopened in both directions near Newtown following a collision early on Monday morning.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed there had been a crash close to Dolfor towards Crossgates at around 6am.
A diversion was in place and drivers were warned to expect delays and to make extra time for their journey where possible.
A spokesman for the force said: “The road is currently closed due to a collision.
“Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey.
“Thank you.”

In an update at 9.42am, Traffic Wales said the road between Dolfor and Crossgates had reopened in both directions.
