There were long delays on the A470 in Powys after Police closed the road.
The delays were near on the A470 near Llangurig after Dyfed-Powys Police closed the road due to a crash this afternoon (October 23).
Witnesses in the area suggested that the road was still partially open before confirmation that the police had fully closed the road just after 2pm. It reopened about two hours later.
Traffic information showed that there were long tailbacks on the roundabout into Llangurig.
Dyfed-Powys Police advised drivers to "please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey".
The road reopened shortly after 4pm.
