A SPORTING fixture with a difference helped raise more than £700 for charity earlier this year.
A team of veterans representing Penybont Football Club met Llandrindod Wells Rugby Club in a football match refereed by Neil Holder and even included a conversion scored by the rugby club.
During the match a collection was taken and donations given towards Macmillan Cancer Support.
