Newtown Carnival is appealing for volunteers to join their committee.
The hugely successful event drew hundreds of people to the town centre in June for its first event in years.
With current members looking to take a step back, new members are needed to help carry out roles for next year’s carnival.

The Newtown Carnival annual general meeting will take place at The Monty Club in Broad Street at 7.30pm on Tuesday, September 24.
Jen Reynolds, committee chairperson, said: “If you enjoyed carnival 2024 and would like to be on the committee for 2025, we are seeking new members due to our current members looking at taking a back seat.
“If you could fulfil any of the following roles, treasurer, secretary, social media, queen and attendants secretary or any other role, please come and join us.”
