Tudor Lewis of Tregynon near Newtown has clinched victory in the Under-28s Limousin Stock Judging at the Royal Welsh Show.
Mr Lewis persuaded the judges with his strong rationale and persuasive skills, leading to his win.
His achievement aided the county in securing an impressive overall second place in the stock judging contests.
Representing Montgomery Young Farmers, this year will be Mr Lewis’s final appearance as a competitor at the show.
His stock judging successes range from local to national levels in categories including Cobs, Pigs and Texels.

Additionally, Mr Lewis has participated in auctioneering and tug-of-war events and directed Tregynon YFC to victory in the field.
He has even performed annually in the February drama festival, earning the title of Best Senior Actor this year.
