A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car on the main road between Newtown and Llandrindod Wells.

Police were called to the incident on A483 between Llanbister and Llanbadarn Fynydd at around 12.45pm on Saturday (May 25).

A man riding an orange KTM motorcycle travelling northbound towards Llanbadarn Fynydd died at the scene after it collided with a car.

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision.

"His family have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained police officers," the force said on Saturday evening.
