A 10-bedroom Victorian era building in Welshpool that used to be a care home has been put on the market at a cost of £500,000.

“I am so pleased that we have been able to offer a loving home to so many residents over this time. I wish to thank my fellow trustees and all our staff past and present for their wonderful service.

“The trustees have tried always to provide this accommodation at an affordable cost but sadly, rising prices and costs have made this increasingly uneconomic and mindful of their duty to safeguard the trust, the Trustees have reluctantly decided to close the home.”
