A man will be walking almost 200 miles from Newtown to Dorset before having his body waxed and shaved in memory of his parents and best friend who died from cancer.

After five weeks of training, Andrew 'Rab' Tanswell will be walking for at least two days from his home in Newtown to Wimborne, where he grew up, on Friday (May 24) to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer, a Cancer Research charity.

Rab is keen to raise as much money as possible through his online fundraising page - https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/andrews-giving-page-25720 - for the cancer charity and its "unbelievable" work.

Rab added: "When I get there [Wimborne], the first thing I'll do is lay roses on my parents and grandparents' grave."
