With Red Bull Hardline just a few weeks away, a large scale clean up of Machynlleth’s bike track has been scheduled.
The community group Trash Free Trails are organising an evening to clear up debris from the town’s pump track for what has become an annual event.
Volunteers are invited to join the team at 5.30pm on May 31 to help clear up the bike track behind Y Plas.
Writing on social media, Trash Free Trails said: “We're returning to Machynlleth for our annual Pump Track Power Hour.

“Red Bull Hardline is only a couple weeks away and though we'll have much more to say about that soon, we're stoked to share that we'll be back to clean up the Machynlleth Pump Track and Playground for another year.
“Join us for a post-work or post-travel clean up of a beloved local riding spot.
"We've been cleaning the Pump Track for a couple of years now, and we continue to monitor levels of single-use pollution there to see if we can identify if the local community have been able to achieve a sustained reduction in trash that's there.”
