Two women accused of stealing a trolley full of food from Morrisons supermarket in Welshpool will stand trial after pleading not guilty in court.
Kathleen Power, 62, and Kathleen Stokes, 53, both of Leighton Arches, near Welshpool, denied the theft charge when they appeared in the dock on Tuesday, May 14.
Robert Hanratty, acting for Power and Stokes, told the chair of the magistrates' bench Dr Rachel Jones: "I have nothing to say, ma'am".
The pair were both given no bail conditions except for attending their trial which was fixed for September 9 at Welshpool Magistrates' Court.
