A woman will stand trial over allegations that she strangled and hit her ex-husband at their home in Newtown.
Kim Lane, 64, pleaded not guilty to the two charges - intentional strangulation and assault by beating - that were put before her when she appeared at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 14.
Michael Davies, acting on behalf of Lane, said his client "strongly denies" any attempt at strangling Barry Lane.
Chair of the magistrates' bench Dr Rachel Jones fixed a four-hour trial to be held at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on August 12.
