A 30-year-old man from Powys has appeared in court accused of sexual activity with a teenage girl.
Ryan Hughes gave no pleas to two charges when he appeared in the dock at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 23.
The Bettws Cedewain man is charged with engaging in sexual communication with a teenage girl and also intentionally inciting the 15-year-old to engage in sexual activity by penetration.
The latter charge is an indictable-only offence, meaning it can only be tried before a judge in a crown court.
Hughes, of Bettws Cedewain village, was remanded on unconditional bail to next appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Mold Crown Court on Friday, May 24.
