Glansevern Hall and Gardens will be hosting a garden party to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day this summer.
On June 2, the historic hall near Welshpool will be hosting its own commemoration of the landings on Normandy beach during the Second World War.

The afternoon, taking place between 2pm and 5pm, will feature a performance from Newtown male voice choir, a silver band, vintage singers and a Battle of Britain memorial flyby.
Tickets are currently on sale for £10 and can be found at Welshpool Jewellers, Riffels or Hardy’s Bookstore.
