The A40 bypass in brecon was closed for two hours after police received a call concerned for the wellbeing of an induvidual.
Havving announced that the A40 bypass was closed at 3.30pm on Wednesday, March 27, Dyfed Powys Police confirmed that the closure was the result of a call concerned for the wellbeing of an induvidual, made at 2.50pm.
The individual in question was reportedly spotted near to Brecon canal when police received the call regarding their safety.

Police arrived at the scene and closed the dual carriageway, advising drivers to avoid the area and find an alternative route for their journeys.
Dyfed Powys Police also confirmed that the road would remain closed to allow an Air Ambulance to arrive at the scene.
After two hours, the road was re-opened to all traffic at 5.40pm.
