Powys property: Former Prime Minister home back on sale

Llandrinio Hall was originally the home of the Robert Peel family – the former Prime Minister and founder of the modern police force.

The house is thought to be the oldest brick building in Montgomeryshire and dates back to 1682.

The historic property is back on the market having been up for sale early last year.

Savills, who are handling the sale of the property, said: “Llandrinio Hall is an extremely sophisticated ‘grown up’ house which has a fabulous feel to it.

“Not only does it work wonderfully as a family home, it also lends itself as being a great house for entertaining and as a holiday let/Airbnb.
