Tickets for the 2024 Machynlleth Festival at the Museum of Modern Art are now on sale, with a varied lineup of musicians scheduled to perform.

Every August, Machynlleth welcomes an array of musicians and performers as part of a week-long Festival of Welsh and International music, culture, and heritage, the Gwyl Machynlleth Festival.

Hosted at the town’s Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), the museum have unveiled some of their lineup for this year, with more acts expected to be announced closer to the date of the event.

They said: “We are thrilled to welcome you back this summer for another year of exceptional music making in the wonderful surroundings of Y Tabernacl.”

The event will follow what MOMA described as a “bumper year” in 2023, which saw a mix of Welsh and international music, exhibitions and lectures, displaying a wide variety of performances by world class musicians.

Highly anticipated acts from 2024 include the return of internationally acclaimed Welsh pianist Llŷr Williams, Schubert’s Trout Quintet with Tom Poster and the Kaleidoscope Collective, a male voice choir concert with Cantorion Gogledd Cymru and Tango Calor.

Tickets for both the season and individual events are currently on sale.
