They said: "We spent 4 perfect nights at the shepherds hut, Berriew. It offers the best combination back to basics with a modern twist.

"Everything was there that you required, including a kitchen, Seating with a fire pit, BBQ gas or coal fired.

"The accommodation was warm and cosy with a log burner if required. The wet room was amazing, which was improved with a short meander with great views.

"Berriew village is a short walk away along the canal with 2 pubs, village shop, tea rooms and local butchers.

"The afternoon tea provided by the tea rooms was exquisite. There is also a local art museum. Amazing value and standards, we will definitely return."
