Drivers will face detours when the A470 through a Powys village is closed for overnight resurfacing works during the half term week.

Motorists are being warned to plan ahead as the works begin in Caersws from Monday, February 12, to Friday, February 16.

Delays are expected when a two-way stop and go convoy will be in place from the crossroad to Manthrig Lane during the daytime on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 8am and 5pm.

This will be followed by two overnight road closures from 6pm until midnight on Wednesday and Thursday.
