The Welsh Government have said they are looking to increase the number of trains available on one of the main lines in Powys.
The Welsh Government has said it will look increase services on the Cambrian Line as it introduces new a new fleet of trains across Wales.
Calls have been made by multiple political figures and members of the public to get the service on the Cambrian Line, the main rail line through Montgomeryshire, to run hourly in both directions to make it more convenient.

Advocates have said it would allow more people to use the service and would boost the local economy by making travel across the county easier and allow for a boost in tourism.
A Welsh Government spokesperson said: “We are committed to improving the services on the Cambrian Line with the introduction of new trains and increased services, once the new fleet is in place.”
