I don’t understand the rationale behind government thinking.
Huge cuts are to be made across the board to public services, combined with tax increases to help balance the books.
At the same time millions of pounds has been spent implementing a 20mph speed limit which is not monitored or enforced. Consequently it is ignored by the majority of drivers.
Is there some logic to this that I have missed?
