Fundraisers working on behalf of a well-known national heart charity are genuine and not bogus callers, police have confirmed.

Dyfed-Powys Police yesterday (Wednesday, January 24) posted a statement on its Facebook page stating concerns that residents in north Powys had been approached by representatives of the British Heart Foundation.

People living in villages such as Kerry, Churchstoke, Montgomery and Abermule shared on social media that people had been claiming to be raising money for defibrillators around Powys.
