West End performers will be joining musicians from Powys for an evening of entertainment in Llanfair Caereinion.

On January 20, 2024, West End artists Rosie Jones, who has performed in West End productions of Mamma Mia and Les Misérables, and David Pendlebury, who has starred in West End productions of The Lion King and Phantom of the Opera, will be performing at The Institute in Llanfair Caereinion,

Starting at 7.30pm, the professional performers will be joining local performers such as Teulu Moeldrehaearn, Beth Peate, Cefin Pryce, Ceri Pryce, Mali Ellis, Huw Davies, Seren Walton and Alaw Francis.

Current and former pupils of Ysgol Llanfair Caereinion will also be at the event, will be led by Glandon Lewis, and is raising funds for the 2024 Urdd Eisteddfod appeal target for Llanfair Caereinion.

One of the organisers of the bilingual event, Ruth Bates, said: “It promises to be a great night of ‘hwyl’ featuring some magical performances from local musicians and we’re also lucky to be joined by singers and dancers from the West End too.”

Tickets are £15 for adults and include nibbles and a complementary glass of mulled wine on arrival, while tickets for primary aged children are free and secondary children are £5.
