Plans have been submitted to introduce rapid charging electric car stations in the car park of a Powys McDonald's restaurant.
InstaVolt has submitted plans to install two charging stations within the car park of the fast food in Pool Road.
Four existing parking spaces will become EV charging bays, with associated equipment, according to plans filed with Powys County Council this week.
Instavolt is an expanding company which is installing electric vehicle charging stations all over the country.
It also comes as more and more electric vehicle charging points are installed around Powys. Plans were already submitted earlier in the week for new charging points at a service station in Builth Wells.
In September, plans were revealed for a drive-thru restaurant to serve electric car owners on the edge of Llanfair Caereinion.
A note on the application form says: "One of the two EV charging bays will be fully accessible, allowing for unrestricted access to one EV charger with 1.2m access on three sides of the parking bay."
A decision on the plans is expected by January 3.
